The annual event sees the indoor cricket centre in Sam Street packed to capacity with feathered friends and keen buyers as well as trade displays for bird owners.
Organisers expect about 1700-1800 birds to go on sale from 10am on the day, with about 800 people expected to come through the doors.
The sale offers all types of birds ranging from finches and budgerigars to the black cockatoo and exotic parrots such as the macaw and everything in between, for sale by owner.
“We know we have got people coming from Adelaide, Victoria and Queensland,” Club president Alf Watts said.
