This week’s birthdays start on 6th September with Loretta Girl and Neville’s Mum hoping their family and friends remember their special day. Computer Ashley and Casey’s Mum celebrate on 7th September. Greasy Bill’s Mrs is hoping to receive lots of presents on 9 September. Bill’s Leeanne will be blowing out another candle on her cake 10th September. Lastly, Sue’s Request celebrates on 11th September. Happy birthday everyone. We hope you enjoy yourselves.
We appreciate any donations that we receive. However, we are unable to accept electrical items, this is an OHS directive from the head office of Royal Far West. items for out Christmas stocking and our Christmas hamper are needed from now until beginning of October. Goods may be left at the Op-Shop during business hours. Please include your name or pen name for acknowledgement.
No. 1 Son was the happy winner of our Father’s Day parcel. Our new raffle is a patio setting, consisting of a table and two chairs, an umbrella, pot plants, glass set, etc. This will be drawn on 20 October. The gardening package will be drawn on 8th September. After this the tyres will be on display and drawn 22nd November. We welcome all donations towards our raffles, especially our large Christmas stocking, drawn on our last bingo night in December. Thanks.
We had 21 players at our bingo on Monday, 28 August. Dry Andrew’s Daughter won the first hand, Irene won the lucky door prize, Felix won the raffle, Faith won the first special and Irene won the second. Our grateful thanks go to the following for donations and help on the night. The Forbes Services Memorial Club. Everyone welcome.
Every Saturday afternoon we hold a cash bingo, this starts at 2pm, also at the Services Club. The more players, the larger the cash prizes, so the more players the better for everyone. Hope to see you there.
