Greetings fellow Sunshiners. As the days get warmer more and more pretty spring flowers are coming out. All the flowering trees that are blooming, it all looks very nice but there is the problem of allergies – keep well.

Marko’s Kay’s Pal is our first birthday for this week, he celebrates on September 20. The 21st has Nana’s Tanya, Neilcie’s Charlie, Neilcie’s Jaymon and Lee’s Lachy hoping to receive lots of presents.
Taschelli Serenade, Marko’s Monty’s Jade and Sebastian’s Mat will be blowing out an extra candle on their cakes on September 22. Neilcie’s Dane is turning another year old on September 23.
On September 24 Frog Puddles, All Day Sucker, Sharp Shooter’s Hayden and Sharp Shooter’s Konner are hoping their family and friends remember their special day. Lastly on September 26 we have Little Rose and Sebastian’s Chris celebrating. Happy birthday to all Sunshiners celebrating.
We would like to thank everyone who has donated towards the op shop. Special thanks to those who help our at our bingo nights – whether with donations or help.
We have our winter stock sale on, all winter clothing is $1 each. We now need donations for summer – men’s, lady’s, girls, boys and baby clothing appreciated. Please leave at the op shop during business hours – please not when the op shop is closed.
We now have our tyres on display in our front window. These are worth $500 from Tyrepower and are not redeemable for cash. They will be drawn at our bingo on September 22. We also have a patio setting raffle, to be drawn on October 20. All our tickets are $1 each at the op shop.
We need donations for our Christmas stocking. Linen, crockery, toys, colouring books, pencils, pet items, Christmas items etc – anything you feel suitable would be appreciated.
We had 19 players at our bingo on Monday September 11. We would like to thank the following for donations and help on the night: Forbes Services Memorial Club, Lithgow Molly, Dry Andrew’s Daughter, Marko’s Mum, Fordy’s Rene, GLGD, Mushroom, Just Bec and Hook’s Neil.
Our next bingo will be on Monday September 25 at 7pm in the Services Club auditorium. Everyone welcome. We also have cash bingo each Saturday at 2pm.
