The Teddy Bear’s Picnic – which was launched last year and proved an astounding success – is on again.
Coordinator Fiona Blythe says they’ve moved the extremely popular event to the Lake-side park where there is more room.
Last year more than 1800 people attended, absolutely staggering the organisers.
This year they are bringing back all the events that made last year so popular and some new ones too.
Top of the list of course is the judging of the best-dressed bear – so don’t forget to bring your favourite cuddly friend.
The arts and craft centre will be in operation, as will music and games including the very popular lollipop toss.
There will be face painting and a jumping castle, as well as the pony rides that had children queuing last year.
New to the event, the spinning teacups will be on offer and there’s a Ninja warrior obstacle course designed especially for the little ones.
Refreshments and snacks will be available ranging from Coffee by Larz to waffles by Sweet Three Vintage Van.
There’ll be pre-made wraps as well as a barbecue in operation.
Forbes Teddy Bear’s Picnic is on from 9am to midday on Saturday, October 21 at Lions Park.
Pack your favourite teddy bear and have a great day.
