Hosted by the Rotary Club, and run by the Forbes Golf Club, the event aims to provide a fun day out while supporting the Wellness Hub.
The Hub opened earlier this year and has been recognised by the Public Education Foundation as an outstanding school initiative.
It connects students and their families with services including health workers, caseworkers from Binaal Billa, Youth Hope and Carewest, a dietician, psychiatrist, hearing support, drug and alcohol services, a psychologist or homelessness youth service.
President of the Rotary Club, Ross Williams said the charity golf day was inspired by the Parkes Rotary Club’s charity event.
He is encouraging community members to sign up for a fun day and to support the school.
Forbes High Acting Principal Jason Nottingham said the school and the Wellness Hub were extremely happy to be involved.
The golf tournament will take the format of a three person ambrose with a shotgun start from 9am.
All ages are welcome, with both team and individual registrations accepted. If you register as an individual, a team will be made up of other individual entries to fill the format.
There is a $35 fee per person which includes all of the greens fees and a BBQ lunch.
Pay at the Forbes golf club pro shop, entries close on October 27.
