The weather was 31 with a light northerly breeze at 10kph. This shoot was a Buffalo target shoot held over 25 metres with a maximum score of 270 points, using a .22 calibre rimfire rifle fitted with a scope, a 50 metre Crow target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, and the 75 metre Rabbit target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points.
The range officers were Brian Neilsen and Anthony Bratton. The scorers were Anthony Bratton and Jennie Carpenter.
Results of the Buffalo target shoot over 25metres were; Paul Baker, 268/270; Garry Parslow, 267/270; Lyall Strudwick, 262/270; Brian Neilsen, 260/270; Jennie Carpenter, 249/270; Dennis Finn, 249/270; Graham Freney, 240/270 and Anthony Bratton, 200/270.
Results of the Crow target shoot over 50 metres were; Paul Baker, 242/250; Garry Parslow, 239/250; Graham Freney, 215/250; Jennie Carpenter, 214/250; Lyall Strudwick, 213/250; Brian Neilsen, 211/150; Dennis Finn, 206/250 and Anthony Bratton, 109/250.
Results of the Rabbit target shoot over 75 metre were; Brian Neilsen, 98/120; Graham Freney, 98/120; Garry Parslow, 94/120; Lyall Strudwick, 92/120; Paul Baker, 80/120; Jennie Carpenter, 80/120; Dennis Finn, 69/120 and Anthony Bratton, 63/120.
The next .22 calibre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or .17HMR) shoot will be held on Sunday October 29, 2017 starting at 10am.
The next Wednesday shoot will be held on November 1, 2017, starting at 3pm at the Bedgerebong road range.
All target shooters are welcome to attend these shoots. Any person wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can attend any of these shoots and take part after filling out a P650 form at the club.
Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

The next shoot for the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting clays will be their monthly shoot on Sunday November 12, 2017, starting at 1pm at the Bedgerebong road range.
This shoot will be a 75 target handicap five stand shoot (depending on the weather a 75 target handicap field shoot may be held).
