There’s just a couple of weeks now until the Rotary Ipomoea Christmas tree festival and entrants are busy planning their displays.

Nativity scenes and trees of any size or make are accepted entries within the festival – the only limit is your imagination.

To register your interest in submitting an entry contact Sue-anne Nixon on 6851 5197 or Helen Pitt on 6851 4930 before November 25.

Completed trees or nativity scenes can be handed in Friday December 1 at Town Hall between 8am and 12pm, all entries cost $5.

With the Christmas tree festival in December, this Saturday will be Rotary Ipomoea’s final market of the year down at Sir Francis Forbes Park

There’s a good selection of stall holders booked in already as this market is so close to Christmas and organisers think there’ll be something for everyone.

Rotary Ipomoea have a traditional giant Christmas stocking raffle this year, you can purchase tickets in this raffle at the market.
