Properties across the shire received anywhere from 27 to 76mm of rain late last week with storms hitting the area.
While about 5.7mm was recorded at Forbes Airport according to the Bureau of Meteorology, the Advocate’s Facebook audience measured between one and three inches in storms on Thursday night.
Some of the recordings given included: 27mm in Farrand Street; 40mm in Underwood Street; 40mm at Mulyandry; and 67 in Uphills Road.
Lachlan Region SES said they had three call-outs in Forbes, with volunteers helping remove fallen trees, sandbag doors and tarp leaky roofs.
All the weekend’s cricket was called off, with more rain in some parts on Friday and again on Saturday afternoon.
