Amy won the business leader category at the Forbes Boscars, and went on to win the award at a regional level.
While she didn’t bring home a trophy from the State awards, she says it was an honour to be recognised as a finalist amongst many incredible people.
“As an early childhood professional I feel it is important that people recognise early childhood as making a positive change to the long term outcomes for our communities,” she said.
“I am looking forward to continuing to see Forbes Preschool be part of our community, to offer specialised programs and meet our community’s needs.
“We look forward to hosting our second conference in 2018, meeting new families and working within our community.
“I thank the amazing team of committed educators at Forbes preschool who make it such a special place to be and the management committee for their support and vision to keep preschool accessible and affordable.”
