The sixth Rotary Ipomoea Christmas tree Festival opens in the Forbes Town Hall this Friday at 6pm.

Tree entries can be dropped off at the Town Hall from 8am this Friday morning, the trees and nativities can be viewed Saturday (9am – 5pm) and Sunday (9am to 1pm).

This year an astonishing 111 entries are booked in and Rotary’s organisers are very excited.

Individuals and classes from St Laurences’s school, Forbes Public, Forbes North school, Forbes High school, Eugowra Public School, Bedgerabong Public school as well as many entries from our preschools and childcare centres are participating.

Entry to the event is free to children accompanied by an adult and only $2 for adults to enter and see the display.

Rotary Ipomoea members encourage the people of Forbes to come along and see this wonderful Christmas Wonderland.

They’re encouraging families to make it a day out, see the Christmas trees and attend Forbes Public school market on Saturday and enjoy this wonderful time of Christmas cheer together.
