The display opened on Friday night and Rotary Ipomoea President Therese Newell thanked all those who entered and congratulated them on their incredible work.
“Every year we marvel at how different they are, it takes time and effort to create these trees,” she said.
Schools and early childhood centres, community groups and businesses once again came to the fore to put on an incredible display.
The stage was taken up with a decorated Christmas tree, surrounded by gifts, replicated in x-ray by the Forbes Medical Imaging team.
This year – the sixth for the annual festival - there was an increasing number of individuals and families who contributed an entry to the exhibition.
Mayor Graeme Miller officially opened and congratulated the club for pulling together something “very, very special”.
