Vanfest shifts indoors after rain cancellation

It wasn’t the party that Vanfest organisers had planned, but after storms and rain (rain and more rain) hit the show ground, some of the artists were happy to head to the Vandenberg Hotel to perform.

A storm hit just on opening on Friday night, but the gates did open and the first half of the evening enjoyed great weather.

Headline artists included ARIA-award winning Amy Shark, Cosmos Midnight, Carmada and Discovery and plenty more.

But another storm hit and the rain kept coming until lunchtime on Saturday, when organisers made the decision to call the second night of the festival off

Disappointment for many visitors to Forbes: anticipation of the fourth annual music festival was high with more than 12,000 tickets had been sold and 3000 camping at the showgrounds.
