Between our own travels and what has been reported to us, the Advocate has compiled a map and list of some of the places to visit to see lovely Christmas lights:
68 Ferry Street; Farnell Street, corner of Clarence and York streets, 44 Hilda Street, Brenner Street, 136 and 140 Calarie Road, 20 Windsor Street, 14 Patterson Street and 11 Barton Street.
Jacaranda Street, Chelsea Crescent, Reid Street, Bogan Street and Brenner Street are worth a drive and let’s not forget Victoria Park and the central business district.
Editor’s tip: take your mozzie repellent!
Mel Sinclair from Cenwest Tours will be running bus tours around town to allow people to see the lights.
All proceeds of his tours will be going towards the the charity organisation Can Assist.
When the Advocate spoke to Mr Sinclair, the majority of his tours were booked out.
