Troff Pastoral Company has had success previously, winning the 2017 Glamis Shield as well.
Mr Jones said he was extremely happy with the win and the result of the sale which topped $298.
Mr Harper said all of the ewes were a wonderful grade for their age, and were very well presented.
“A great example for first cross ewes and so pleased to see such a great line up.”
Mr Harper said are strong returns in the industry and prices have created a buzz in the crowd.
Buyers from around the state and country were in attendance.
Adam Chudleigh of McCarron Cullinane Chudleigh said some ewes went to Leongatha in southern Victoria.
Mr Chudleigh said it was a very solid market with most ewes making between $240 and $280.
G and D Wright from Trundle topped the ewe lamb market at $302 while the Sunderland family of Fifield topped the market at $335.
