Local CRT business AgriWest Forbes has been named as a finalist for the CRT 2017 New South Wales Business of the Year Award.
New South Wales CRT State Manager Tim Doolan said the team was not only supporting existing industry in the area but emergency opportunities such as cotton growing.
AgriWest was commended by Mr Doolan for their efforts in expanding their business and engaging in new opportunities as well as their well presented business.
“The high standards are established from the moment you drive up and continue throughout the store, reflected in everything from the layout, to the service you receive from the team,” Mr Doolan said.
AgriWest Forbes Manager Brett Rout, said he and the team were extremely proud of their nomination and selection as a finalist.
“When we know how many top class businesses there are across the state, we were really pleasantly surprised to be named as a finalist,” he said.
The winner of the New South Wales Business of the year will be announced on February 10 at the CRT Conference in Perth.
The New South Wales winner will then represent the state for the National CRT 2017 Business of the Year Award, which is also to be announced on February 10.
“To service and also represent our region is a real honour and we consistently strive to deliver the best store, expertise and service we can to our customers,” Mr Rout said.
Greg O’Neil, Ruralco Executive General Manager responsible for the CRT network, praised AgriWest Forbes for their service to their local community but also for their service to the wider CRT group.
“AgriWest Forbes are seen as a valuable part of their region and that stems from their involvement in their community and commitment to partnering with them to meet their needs,” Mr O’Neil said.
“Their contributions to the CRT group are admired by many and they are extremely worthy finalists for this award.”
