With top temperatures below 30 degrees recorded for much of last week, this week is whole new ballgame.
Tuesday reached 32 degrees and we can expect a steady increase to 36 degrees by Friday afternoon with no rain in sight.
Saturday is forecast to be a scorching 38 degrees with a sizzling 40 on Sunday.
The nights are also expected to warm up, with lows of 16 degrees much of the week and a steamy 21 degree low on Sunday morning.
The new week will bring something of a reprieve with Monday forecast to reach a milder high of 34 degrees.
