On the night, Quick three game wins were had by J. Hennock over G. Coombs, M. Bentick against E. Cowhan, R. Acret against D Bilsborough and H Toole over T Cormie. At two sets all, Neil Toole won 15 to 11 against tough opponent Ethan Gaffney.
All other matches were four set affairs where C. Toole lost to P. Cormie, Legs Allegri’s legs ran well to defeat Wayne Bilsborough and W Wallace was consistent in a win over L Webb. Sarah Miller also came home strong against our other Sarah, Tottenham.
Team results were: Court One; Coombs (7) lost to Hennocks (20). Court Two; Acrets (19) defeated D Bilsboroughs (9). Court Three; W Bilsboroughs (15) defeated Allegris (12).
Thursday night’s big matches began with Dan Bailey’s defeat of Jono Cannon by two points after five grueling sets and later Sam Horner’y suffered a two point loss to Regan Acret after they ran each other ragged for well over an hour.
Current Juniors and good mates Blair Thomas and Brodie Acret both had good wins over more experienced players then past juniors Brendon Allegri and Kyle Sharpe played where Brendon had a rare loss. Work and team mates Darryn Piper and Rowan Madge can put another notch on their rackets.

Allegri 3–0, N McCaig lost to L Stibbard 0–3. Court Two; Kings (15) lost to Doyles (20) D. Bailey beat J. Cannon 3–2, C. McQuie lost to D. Haynes 1–3, Br Thomas lost to M. Webb 1–3, A Gordon beat S. Mackay 3–0, G. Falvey lost to K. Bryant 0–3. Court Three; Pipers (24) defeated Doyles (18) Darryn defeated Alex 3–0, sub C. McQuie beat L. Miller 3–1, M. Doyle defeated G Coombs 3–0, sub D. Bryant lost to P. Thompson 0–3, D. Bryant lost to B. Acret 0–3, R. Madge beat S. Gordon 3–0. Next weeks draw: 4 versus 5, 2 versus 3, 1 versus 6.
