The annual competition and all-round fun day is in the usual format, with teams of four invited to enter at the golf club for the ambrose competition.
Nomination sheets are available at the Pro Shop and the most favoured times are being snapped up.
As of late last week more than 70 players had nominated, with organisers expecting a rush this week.
With other events on, they are encouraging players to sign up for early tee-off to get to their afternoon events.
Although the “world championship” is on the line it’s a day for anyone with any capability to enjoy a round of golf with their mates just like Greg did.
Sanderson was one of three local members of the Forbes Platypi rugby union team killed in the Bali bombings on October 12, 2002.
The golf day honours his memory along with Paul Cronin and Brad Ridley and fellow members of the rugby union team who were in Bali on their end-of-season trip at the time.
Funds are donated to the Kuta International Disaster Scholarship.
