“I feel very lucky to have been provided this opportunity and can't wait to compete in Sydney,” Kyle said.
Forbes High School’s agricultural teacher Rachel Eagles said they were so proud of Kyle and his achievement.
“He has a wonderfully calming manner with the cattle and will be a great ambassador for Forbes and Forbes High School,” she said.
Kyle has been with the Forbes High School show team for a number of years.
In the January holidays he travelled to Victoria for International Dairy Week with fellow student Jack Coles. Both boys paraded heifers, and their team came third overall.
Forbes High’s relieving principal Jason Nottingham wished Kyle all the best in Sydney.
“It is evident that this young man has high expectations to achieve big things in the agricultural sector,” he said.
