The Forbes Heated Pool will re-open at 10am Friday, with a delighted committee announcing a fix to the structural issue that saw the pool closed late February.

“We have had local business Knights Steel Fabrication and Mobile Crane Hire place the structural bracing for the masonry wall around the pool as required by the structural engineer,” committee president David Hodder said.
“It has been inspected by the engineer and deemed safe to operate.”
The doors will open for use as normal by members on Friday April 13 at 10am.
“The pool still has ongoing issues that we will be working towards fixing or updating, however funding through grants will play a big part in resolving these issues,” Mr Hodder said.
Memberships will be extended to allow for the down time.
