The Forbes Tennis Club have played their 2018 Club Championships. In the A grade men's singles Alex Doyle outplayed the rest. In the B grade men's singles Luke Davis won. In the A grade ladies Janelle Goodsell won. In the A grade men's doubles Alex and Mitch Doyle combined to win. Scott Neville and Gavan Coote played well to win the B grade doubles. Lara Stibbard and Codie Smith combined well to win the A grade ladies doubles from Janelle Goodsell and Kylie Spice who were runners-up. In the A grade mixed doubles Lara Stibbard and Alex Doyle outplayed the rest of the field. In the B grade mixed doubles Kylie Spice and Gavan Coote proved too good to win from Lyndy Cannon and Scott Neville. Social tennis starts Tuesday, May 1 at 7pm-9pm. Just turn up when you can. Cost is $8.

The Forbes Tennis club is in mourning as one of our stalwarts Fay Decker passed away on the April 5. Fay loved her tennis and was always ready and willing to lend a hand. Our condolences to her family. We will miss you Fay.
