The 2018 Variety Bash participants will have breakfast at Forbes Showground on Wednesday morning with the kids from Forbes Public School.
The school is one of the beneficiaries of the fundraiser car rally – sharing in $50,000 worth of grants to regional NSW schools.
“We want all our students, no matter their ability, to be able to play alongside each other and tap into their creative skills,” school principal Dafydd Thomas said.
“We will use the Variety grant to put towards our new inclusive playground that can be enjoyed by all of our 300 students.”
At the breakfast, Variety Bash drivers get to meet the kids and see what a difference their fundraising makes.
This year’s event started on Sunday at Bar Beach Newcastle, and is heading to towns including Glen Innes, Eumungerie, Forbes, Caragabal and Mudgee.
