EARLIER
Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man who is missing from Lithgow.
Terry Northey was last seen by his family at a home on Laurence Street, Lithgow, about 9pm on Monday 21 May 2018, before travelling to Forbes in a silver/grey Kia Sportage with registration plates DKL73E.
After arriving in Forbes, Mr Northey was last seen by a friend at home about 4am on Tuesday 22 May 2018.
Officers attached to Chifley Police District and family members made several attempts to contact Terry, but were unsuccessful.
Serious concerns are held for his welfare as he has a medical condition and is out of character.
Mr Northey is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm tall, of solid build, with grey and balding hair and glasses.
Police are conducting inquiries to locate Terry and are appealing to anyone who knows his whereabouts, or sees the vehicle to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
