A 31-year-old man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated break and enter and malicious damage after a home invasion in Forbes.

Police arrested the man in Lithgow, in relation to the home invasion that had occurred about 5pm Monday.
It is alleged the man forced entry to the house and assaulted the two occupants.
He was refused police bail on Wednesday, to face court in Lithgow on Thursday.
Following further investigations, Central West police district detectives have laid further charges of kidnapping and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
In other police matters, police are investigating break-ins on two local churches this week.
Offenders smashed a window to gain entry to one church on Wednesday night.
They then forced internal doors to go through several rooms and stole an overhead projector.
The other break-in occurred on Tuesday night.
Offenders again smashed a window and stole a small amount of cash and an older model iPod.

Police have charged a 56-year-old Forbes man with supplying prohibited drug and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Officers from the Central West Police District carried out a search warrant in Johnson Street on Wednesday.
They seized 1kg of cannabis and a quantity of cash.
In Parkes, two homes were destroyed by fire on Wednesday night. Emergency services were called to fire in first Parkesborough Road then Bogan Street.
