Described as a “serial entrepreneur”, Lisa announced a regional tour a few months ago to meet with business people around the country and impart the lessons she’s learned.
Cherie Stitt, who opened up the Back Room Workshop at her Forbes property 10 months ago, pitched for Lisa to include an intimate lunch for 16 people in Forbes in an itinerary that included larger centres like Dubbo and Tamworth.
“We have such a community of very supportive, creative people,” she said.
Women flocked from Forbes, the surrounding rural areas and region for the opportunity to connect with the business mentor – and also forged connections with each other, she said.
