Two Forbes residents are now Australian citizens after a Town Hall ceremony on Thursday, June 7.

Jannette Mores and Angela Saladino were received as Australian citizens at Town Hall on Thursday afternoon.
The ceremony was presided over by Mayor Graeme Miller inside the Forbes Shire Council chambers.
The two new citizens were joined by family for the ceremony and afternoon tea.
Mrs Mores, originally from the Philippines, moved to Australia and Forbes in 2012, where she works at Jemalong.
Mrs Saladino also moved to Forbes from the Philippines with her family in 2012 and works at the Learning Ladder.
Mrs Mores and Mrs Saladino were the first new citizens to be welcomed in Forbes at a citizenship ceremony this year.
In 2016-17, a total of 137,750 people become Australian citizens by conferral from at least 190 different countries.
