This shoot was a .22 target shoot held over 25 metres with a maximum score of 250 points, using a .22 calibre rimfire rifle fitted with a scope, a 50metre Crow target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, and a 75 metre Rabbit target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points.

Results of the monthly shoot on Sunday, June 10. There were eight shooters in attendance for the 75 target off the gun field shoot on Sunday. The weather was cool with a easterly breeze. Due to the small number of shooters a targets only shoot was held.
Results of the 75 target five stand shoot on Sunday were; In A grade; Bruce Dent (Fbs)19-16-23 total 58.
In B grade; Adrian Hodges, David Mitton (Fbs) 18-18-18 total 56; Phil Picker (Fbs) 18-18-14 total 50; Anthony Bratton 14-15-20 total 49; Norm Brook, (Fbs) 13-17-14 total 44.
In C grade; Ernest Coleman (Goulburn) 16-13-9 total 38; David Coleman (Fbs) 11-13-12 total 36; Michael Tol (Griffith) 3-8-5 total 19.
The next shoot for the sporting clay's will be Sunday, July 8. A 75 target handicap field shoot at 12pm, weather permitting.
If wet a Five Stand shoot will be held starting at 12pm. Shooters please note the program has been changed for the July shoot.

The next .22 calibre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or .17HMR) shoot will be Sunday, June 17 at 10am.
The next Wednesday shoot is June 20 at 3pm. All target shooters are welcome to attend these shoots.
Anyone wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can take part after filling out a P650 form at the club. Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

Netball
The Forbes Netball Saturday competition will resume this weekend, after the long weekend. Congratulations and thank you to everyone that helped raise money for The Kids Cancer Project, where $400 was raised on the day.
It was a great day of fun dressing up with crazy hair and socks, for a very worthwhile charity. Anyone wanting to buy FNA sun visors and socks may come to the office this week, as the order has arrived.
All players who were playing in any of the 11s carnival team are asked to please return the FNA carnival dresses this weekend and have your name recorded on return.
All players who did not pay the carnival fee of $15 for Parkes carnival are also asked to pay when they return their dresses. Thank you
This week the canteen duty team is Joeys from Division 3. NetSetGo parents are also asked to help out on their time slot. All players are asked to please order their hot chips at 11.30am. Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped in the canteen.

Learning umpires are very welcome at all times. Support is given to anyone who would like to learn to umpire at Friday netball or Saturdays. Please see Umpires Convenor Marg Spackman.
Friday netball: On today, after the holiday break. Anyone can join in the fun of Friday Netball from 5pm till 6pm. Boys and girls do not have to be registered or play Saturday competition to learn skills and play games. Friday netball is free to all players.
New players can still join in teams for Saturday competition, and NetSetGo. Players can come along on Saturday and be placed into teams.

Bowls
Don Craft: There was a break in competition bowls over the long weekend and only a few members turned out for social bowls.
The results for last Wednesday at 1pm were: John Gorton and Alf Davies were too strong for Ray Dunstan and Peter MacKay with a comfortable 18-9 win.
Kerry Dunstan and Bob Grant also had a comfortable 21-10 win against Rad Stevens and Laurie Crouch and in the last game Denny Byrnes and Barry shine showed a clean pair of heels with a 25-11 win over Barry Wright and Bill O’Connell.
The winners last Thursday afternoon were Cliff Nelson and Alan Phillips who had an easy 31-16 win against John Baass and Ron Thurlow. Runners up were Bob Grant and Bill Adams who had a close 24-20 win against Alan Affleck and Tony Bratton.
In other games Peter Hocking and John Kennedy had a very close 21-20 win against Cheree Vincent and Lyall Strudwick. Max Vincent and John Taylor defeated Merv Langfield and Darryl Griffiths 24-18.
The last game was a 22 all draw between John Cutler and Brian Asimus playing John ‘Gunna’ Williams and Graham West.
There was a shortage of players on Sunday morning with only two games played. The winning rink went to Paul Baker and Bob McGinty with a 16-11 win over Tara-Lea and The Pom. John Cutler, Cliff Nelson and Peter Tisdell had an arm wrestle in their game with a 10-9 win against Rod Howarth, Pam Stevens and John Kennedy.
John Kennedy had a resting toucher and John Bentick was the May winner of the Bakehouse award.
The final of the Minor Pairs between Scott McKellar and Tony Bratton playing Bill Adams and Grant Lambert is set down for this Saturday.
The last meeting of the Central West Bowling Association will be held at the Parkes Town Club tomorrow.
We will no longer play district events as everything will be played at a Zone level hereafter, as it is presently being done. That’s all folks, see you on the green.
