More than 100 serves of pies, potato, pumpkin, peas and pudding were dished up at the CWA Hall by the ladies of the Presbyterian Women’s Association.
“It was a very happy day and a great social success,” a spokesperson for the group said.
“It’s a simple meal but people really enjoy it, they look forward to it.”
What’s not to love about beautiful local pies from Forbes Bakehouse and a dessert of pavolova nests and bread and butter pudding?
This year patrons also enjoyed entertainment by local musicians James Whalan and Hannah Nixon.
Proceeds from the day contribute to the upkeep of the historic St Andrew’s church.
