The Show is on Friday and Saturday, September 7 and 8 this year and now is the time for those interested in the Miss Showgirl title to express interest.

2017 Showgirl Grace Allen, who went on to be named the State’s second runner up at Sydney Royal Easter Show, would recommend the experience to other young women.

“There is something special about women celebrating other women; their achievements, successes and endeavours,” Grace wrote in reflection on the competition.

“It is difficult to describe in words the sense of empowerment and strength I have developed.

“The countless opportunities, the people I have found myself surrounded by, the structure of conversations, the possibility for growth, the reality in planning for the future are all first-hand experiences made possible by the Showgirl movement.”

The Showgirl competition is open to young women aged 18 to 24. You can collect an information and application pack at Little Extras Lifestyle.

There’s an information evening on Thursday July 26 – at the Back Room Workshop on South Lead Road.
