The first session is at 10:30am and the second session is at 11:15am. Families and carers of children aged 0-5 years are welcome to come along and take part in this fun, free session.
Organisers say Rhyme Time is an excellent opportunity for parents, grandparents and carers to relax and have some fun with their child or children singing nursery rhymes and songs. These sessions provide children with an understanding of rhyme and rhythm in oral language.
The Rhyme Time sessions are delivered by Candice Iyer, who is a familiar face at the Forbes Library. Candice runs “Story Time” on alternative Fridays. This means that every Friday during school terms, there is something on for the littlies at the library at 10:30am.
Rhyme Time is on this Friday, July 27, August 10, September 7 and 21, October 19, November 2, 16 and 30, December 14. More information at the library.
