Notice to members, On Sunday, August 5 the club will be holding the Bankstown shoot for visitors from Sydney.
Results of the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters .22 rimfire rifle shoot held on Sunday July 1.
This shoot was a .22 target shoot held over 25metres with a maximum score of 200 points, and a 50metre Fox target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, and the 75metre Rabbit target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points
The weather was cold with a breeze from the south west at 8kph and the temperature was 15degrees.
Range officers were; Wayne Facey and John Dean.
Scorers were; John Dean and Wayne Facey.
The results of the 25metre .22 target shoot were; John Gorman, 200/200; Garry Parslow, 200/200; Wayne Facey, 200/200; Dennis Christey, 200/200; Kris Gorman, 199/200; John Dean, 199/200; Denis Finn, 197/200; Bruce Sayers, 196/200; Pam Parsons, 187/200 and David Sanderson, 182/200.
The results of the 50metre Fox target shoot were; Kris Gorman, 250/250; Garry Parslow, 250/250; Wayne Facey, 250/250; John Gorman, 249/250; Dennis Christey, 249/250; Denis Finn, 249/250; John Dean, 246/250; Pam Parsons, 246/250; Bruce Sayers, 243/250 and David Sanderson, 225/250.
The results of the 75metre Rabbit target shoot were; Kris Gorman, 110/120; Garry Parslow, 110/120; Wayne Facey, 110/120; Dennis Christey, 106/120; John Gorman, 105/120; John Dean, 105/120 and David Sanderson, 77/120.
The next sporting shooters .22 calibre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or .17HMR) shoot will be held on Sunday, July 15 at 10am.
The next Wednesday shoot will be on July, 18 starting at 3pm. All target shooters are welcome to attend.
Any person wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can attend any of these shoots to take part after filling out a P650 form at the club. Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

The next shoot for the sporting clays will be the monthly shoot this Sunday, July 8 and is a 75 target handicap field shoot held starting at 12noon. If wet a five stand shoot will be held.
On Sunday August 5 the club will be holding the Bankstown shoot for visitors from Sydney.

Notice to shotgun shooters the program has been changed for the July shoot with a 12noon start not 9:30 as listed on the shoot sheet.
Any person wishing to obtain a long arm firearm licence can contact Wayne Facey, Norm Brook or Tony Bratton to do a firearm safe shooting assessment course.
