Two celebrate the event’s silver anniversary, the committee has invited some of those performers from across the years to be part of a special celebration concert at Town Hall.
After a stellar 2018 Eisteddfod with packed programs across both dance and music, speech and drama, the concert promises to be another highlight.
The program includes two performers who were in the very first local eisteddfod in 1994, right through to current competitors.
Vocalist Karyn Tisdell, who was raised at Garema and is now an accomplished opera and musical theatre performer and teacher in Canberra, is one of those who has accepted the invitation.

Organist Grant Barton, who won the Yamaha International electone competition in 2014, is now based in Sydney and will return to the Town Hall stage.
Students from St Laurence’s will represent past and present, the school has competed in the local eisteddfod every years.
Our young local dancers from Kristin’s Dance Studio will bring some of their spectacular dance performances to the Town Hall.
Saxophonist Carl Janetzki who started competing in Forbes in 1999, and organist Kristen Barrass who took to the stage from about 1998, are also on the afternoon’s program.
Other performers include the musical Kelly family from Trundle who have been competing in Forbes for the past seven years, along with pianists Rachel and William Roberts from Cootamundra who have been coming for about eight years.
Tickets are $20 adult, $15 concession or $5 children and are available this week at News on Rankin, if seats are available they will be sold at the door.
