The local businesswoman says donations and offers of support are coming in from all over the country as people seek to support the farming community.
“It’s amazing. Truly amazing,” Ms Lowe said.
“We have lounges, a kitchen, tyres, batteries … too much to list.”
Those in a position to help or would like to come along and learn more are urged to put August 10 in their diaries.
The night starts with an information session at K and H Designs in Rankin Street from 7pm followed by a mega auction at Sylo from 7.45pm for an 8pm start. Spread the word!
And now Ms Lowe wants farming families to – please – accept a helping hand.
So many people are seeing images of the drought through media and want to help in any way they can.
The idea of the Mega Farm Rescue is to bring in volunteers to do farm mini-makeovers, the “farmy army” of volunteers will repair, paint or do whatever sort of work is needed.

These helping hands can’t make it rain, but they can fix the broken pump that causes extra stress when you come in from feeding the sheep.
Ms Lowe and business partner Herb Beer reached out to Buy a Bale’s Farm Rescue project to come to Forbes, wanting to give back to the community.
The response has been remarkable.
“We have way too much just to give to two or three families,” Ms Lowe said.
“We’ve had calls from Sydney, Queensland, South Australia ...”
While there is media interest in the project, recipients will be able to choose whether or not they are featured. You don’t have to be in the spotlight.
Ms Lowe added that the people who have put their hands up to come and carry the work are tradies, skilled workers and professionals in their fields.
“We have a business in Dubbo that is closing down and bringing 10 skilled workers here to help,” she said.
Farming families are urged to nominate at farmrescue.com.au
You can nominate someone anonymously, organisers will approach them. They just want to make sure these generous donations go to those who need them.
“There’s no shame in this, it’s nobody’s fault the weather is the way it is,” Ms Lowe said.
