THE major semi-finals of the Saturday netball competition will be played this weekend, between the teams that came first and second on the point score ladder. The winners of the Major semi final will progress straight to the Grand final, and the loser of the Major semi will play in the final next Saturday, against the team that has come third. The Minor semi finals were played last week, between the teams that came third and fourth. The teams that have come fourth will now have their players allocated into the three remaining teams in the competition, in each division. Possums (Div 3), Magpies (Div 2), and Kerrie’s Team (Div 1).

Orange Gala Day: A team has been entered into the Orange Gala day, this Sunday. Private transport is required, $15 per player. All players be at the Orange courts at 8am for registrations. Seven players have entered, last Saturday, and one or two more players are needed for the team, if possible. Please contact Robyn Kenny (coach) 0407 235 326 for information. A training session will be held at Friday 5pm-6pm. A Manager, Primary Carer and scorer volunteers are needed for the team to play.

Draw August 11: 9am Division 1 Major semi final, crt 4 Ellie’s team versus Pink Ladies. 10.05am NetSetGo, crt 7 NetSetGo skills, crt 8 NetSetGo competition. 11.10 am Division 2 Major semi final, crt 4 Swifts versus Giants. 11.10 am Division 3 Major semi final, crt 2 Wallabies versus Joeys.

Spring Night competitions: Mixed and ladies teams will starting soon, nominations close August 16. Forms available from the FNA website, emailed them to secretary.forbesnetball@gmail.com. First grading play on August 22, competitions will start on September 5 and finals on November 28.

Representative Presentation: September 1 at the Forbes Services Memorial Club. Players in the u17, 14 years and 12 years will need to confirm their availability by emailing by August 25. Tickets at the office for family and friends, $30 and must be bought by August 25.
