The Major semi finals competition were played last week, with the Grand Final of Division 1 and Finals in Division 2 and 3 to be played this Saturday. The Grand final in Division 1 has been brought forward because of the RBCC exeat weekend on the Grand final weekend of August 25.

NetSetGo presentations will be held immediately after NSG on August 25. All NSG players will receive an award. The Annual Presentations of the FNA will be held immediately after the grand finals of Division 2 and 3 August 25.
Awards will be presented to all players in division 2 and 3, and trophies to all the winners and runners up in each division. The FNA Club Award and the Rotary Club Award for teenagers will be presented.
Awards will also be presented to Most Improved Umpire, Club Coach Award and the Team Award. The Chris Read Memorial Award will be presented to a volunteer who has helped the committee in many capacities. The Edna Jenkin Memorial Award will be presented to a junior player who has shown outstanding sportsmanship.
Best and Fairest awards will be presented to one player in each division. This award is selected by the umpires each week, and totalled at the end of the competition.
Nominations for the Best and Fairest awards: Division 1. Georgina Stitt, Tilly Aveyard, Ella Higgins. Division 2. Swifts-Tom Greenhill, Vixens-Isla Worland, Magpies-Bronte Sinclair and Giants-Tanesha Riddle. Division 3. Wallabies-Laura Greenhill, Possums-Lili Cronin, Joeys-Delilah Karaitiana, Koalas-Jayden Knight.
Results of Major semi finals: Division 3. Last week, Joeys moved straight into the Grand final with a Major semi final win over Wallabies. The game was very even for the first three quarters, but Joeys clicked together in the fourth quarter, to take out the game. Joeys shooters in the fourth quarter, Delilah Karaitiana and Mili Robson were very accurate, and scored many goals for their team. Clare Williams and Laura Greenhill both played great games for Wallabies. Joeys will now play in the grand final on August 25, and Wallabies will play Koalas in the final this weekend. The winner of the final will play Joeys in the grand final.
Division 2. Swifts won on a forfeit from Giants. Swifts will now go straight into the grand final, and Giants will play Vixens in the final this weekend, The winner of the final will play Swifts in the grand final on August 25.
Friday netball: Continue each week until the grand finals of Saturday competition. Friday netball is free to all boys and girls, and players do not have to be playing in the Saturday competition to join in, from 5pm till 6pm.
