The Town Band has released a survey to help them gather information from the public to help them develop the band into the future.
Bring a copy of the survey to the public concert and meeting to share ideas in order to assist the Town Band to develop a Strategic Plan so that grant applications can be made to further develop the Town Band building in Rankin Street and move the Band forward in its desire to serve the local community.
The concert begins at 6pm in the Forbes Services Memorial Club’s auditorium.
After the concert, the Strategic Plan meeting will begin at 7pm and will be chaired by Forbes Shire Council Grants Officer Andrew Rawsthorn.
Town Band member Sue-anne Nixon said the meeting should not take long, however they would like both band members and those that love the band to contribute their ideas for future progress.
The survey asks you to consider:
If you do not belong to the Forbes Town and District Band what is your interest in the band?

What do you enjoy the most about the Town Band?
What does the Town Band mean to you?
Why do you think it is important for the community of Forbes to have its own Town Band?
