Legacy Week takes place in the first week of September.
On Wednesday volunteers were at Woolworths, on Thursday our high school students were based at News on Rankin and visiting businesses around town.
On Friday, Legacy volunteers visited Bernardi’s and Saturday they were based at Bunnings.
Legacy cares for widows of World War I and World War II veterans through to families of young veterans, including those where a parent has been injured or is dealing with mental health issues as a result of their service, both in conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Today they assist more than 65,000 widows, and children who have lost a parent or spouse, as well as families of those who have lost their health.
