Barnes, originally from Eugowra, has completed sporting films for St George Illawarra Dragons, Eugowra Rugby League, Temora Rugby League and Oberon Rugby League.
Now he’s compiling the stories and photos of the Forbes Platypi, from the start of the club in 1968 to today.
The film will look at the glory years, the grand final victories, and the devastating losses of the Bali bombings.
“I already have a great collection of photographs and clipping but I am on the hunt for any treasures people might have stored away in their cupboards,” he said.
“Photos, clipping, programs or footage… more the better.”
Andrew will be at the Forbes Rugby Club from 9am Saturday, set up to photograph or copy any items that come in – they don’t have to be left with him or leave the building.
