The Group will meet on Tuesday night at 5.30pm at the RSL Memorial Club to primarily discuss the upcoming Men’s Health Night. This will be held on October 24 at Forbes RSL auditorium because of an expectation of over 50 attendees. Keynote speaker will be Orange urologist and specialist, Dr.Tim Nicholson and it is hoped there be a local GP speak as well as a prostate nurse from Orange and an Oncologist also from Orange. Those currently with prostate cancer are invited to bring their wife or in some cases partners because this form of cancer, like others, can affect both partners. Those who have never attended a bi monthly meeting of the Forbes Support Group will find the meetings rarely last more than 60-75 minutes and have been deemed very supportive and very positive. Tuesdays meeting will again be held in the Long Tan Room.
