St John’s John Berger and Reverend Crystal Spindler open the door to farming families.

Farmers and their families are being invited to dinner.

The free meal, which includes a roast dinner and dessert, is being hosted at St John’s Anglican Church hall on Friday, September 21.

Reverend Crystal Spindler said they have had a large response rate with around 70 people from the greater Forbes area planning to attend.

”We’ve got a large number of people booked in, but there is still time to join in.”

Reverend Crystal said several local organisations including Bernardi’s, Woolworths and Spotlight have jumped on board to help.

The free dinner is aimed at helping people in tough times to gather together to help support each other.

The dinner will also be attended by a representative from the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) and Councillor for Rural Finances Robert Muffett to help with any financial questions guests may have.

To book your seat or table, call the Parish Office on 68511544 or Reverend Crystal on 0408728638.
