Fantastic events coming up in the next few weeks. We are looking forward to the Rural Women’s Wellbeing Workshop at Bedgerabong Hall on Wednesday, 26 September. This workshop will have a focus on women’s health, wellbeing and mindfulness with presenters, Rachel Kerin and Narelle Hunter.
Rachel is the founder of Kerin Physio Co and is a dedicated physiotherapist, passionate about inspiring and empowering people to self-manage their bodies through quality education via guided consults and specific classes through a mobile business covering large areas of the Central West.
Narelle is a mindfulness coach and founder of Blissfully Present. As a mother of four daughters and farmer’s wife of 26 years, Narelle understands how challenging and rewarding the rural environment can be and is passionate about helping others find effective ways to cope during trying times. This event is free and will have catering provided by the lovely ladies of Bedgerabong.
These workshops are being run in partnership with Central West Local Land Services and Landcare in the Central West. We would love you to join us at Bedgerabong between 9.30am and 3pm. RSVP to me on 02 6862 4914 or at cwllpo@hotmail.com
If you are in Parkes for Reading Day, make sure that you drop in at 141 on Main during the morning, where I will be with the Landcare Worm Farm, reading about….worms and worm farms…and looking a little bit REaDICULOUS! I am majorly looking forward to meeting the Reading Bug! It is such a privilege to be part of educational activities like this and Reading Downtown at Forbes.
The next National Parks Association walk is being held next Wednesday, September 19 and will be a medium, five kilometre walk at Black Ridge. Walkers are meeting at Bushman’s Dam at 9am. Call Merran Cannon on 6866 1225 prior to the walk to confirm your attendance. Visit www.centralwestlachlanlandcare.org. Until next week, happy Landcaring!
