The community orchestra performed for nearly 2000 children and staff over the two separate days.
Each performance went for 50 minutes and focused on educating primary aged children about music appreciation and variety of instruments.

The performances, designed to be interactive and entertaining, gave students insights into the inner workings of an orchestra.
The community-based orchestra is an initiative of the Mitchell Conservatorium and brings together more than 20 members from the Forbes and Parkes Shires.
They rehearse weekly on Wednesday, from 4:30pm to 6pm at the AOG Church hall in Rees Avenue, Parkes.
