Margaret Read will open her salon V Air from 10am to 2pm Sunday and is taking bookings, with all proceeds from the day to be donated to Feed4Farmers.
She is also accepting donations to a raffle, and has a 200 club on sale at the salon this week.
Anyone who would like to donate items, such as cupcakes or baked goods, to be sold on the day would be very welcome.
To make a booking for Sunday or contribute phone V Air on 68521150.
Feed4Farmers formed in July, and the Advocate’s sister publication, The Central Western Daily, reported on the organisation then.
They’ve since made headlines delivering hay and other goods to drought-affected farms.
Feed4Farmers started when Orange resident Mitchell Kennewell was watching news reports of drought, and was motivated to create a Facebook group.
Within 24 hours, they had more than 1000 members eager to help. The group is accepting donations so they can deliver hay, water, pet food and gift cards.
