Results of the Forbes S.S.A.A. sporting shooters .22 calibre rimfire rifle shoot on Wednesday, October 3. The weather was warm with a gusting north easterly breeze from 6 to 12kph. This shoot was run in reverse order with the 75metre Feral Cat target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points shot first, then the 50metre Fox target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, followed by the 25metres Fox target shoot with a maximum score of 280 points,shoot.

Results of the .22 calibre rimfire rifle shoot on Sunday, October 7. The weather was warm with a light breeze from the west at 5kph. This shoot was a .22 target shoot held over 25 metres with a maximum score of 250 points, using a .22 calibre rimfire rifle fitted with a scope, a 50 metre Crow target shoot with a maximum score of 250 points, and the 75 metre Rabbit target shoot with a maximum score of 120 points.
The range officers were; Brian Neilsen and Phil Picker. The scorer was; Brian Neilsen.

The next .22 calibre and other rimfire rifle (.22 magnum or .17HMR) shoot will be on Wednesday, October 17 at 3pm.
The next Sunday shoot will be on October 20 at 10am. The next Wednesday shoot will be on November 7 at 3pm.
All target shooters are welcome to attend. Anyone wishing to try rifle or shotgun shooting can take part after filling out a P650 form. Junior shooters must be 12 years or over.

The next shoot for the sporting clays will be the monthly shoot this Sunday, October 14. This will be a 75 target non graded handicap five stand shoot (due to low numbers) at 1pm.
