The festival first launched on the last weekend of October, 2017 and some of the audience’s favourite acts from that event return this year.
Event organiser Stephen Cheney said it’s been a big job bringing together an awesome festival, and it all starts this Friday.
There’s a incredible line-up of varied acts, starting on Friday night with Beatles Mania and a 70s disco.
Saturday will be the biggest day of music the 70’s Unplugged, Girls of the 60’s and Elvis and Kings of Rock and Roll.
With all of the action over the weekend, Mr Cheney is urging people to get dressed up as their favourite artist or their favourite baby boomer era costume.
70’s Unplugged is a collection of the greatest hits from the 70’s, performed by Stephen Fisher-King alongside Chris Connolly and Jo Elms.
This show includes music from artists including the Eagles, Bread, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, John Denver, Elton John, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac, Carole King and The Rolling Stones.
The Girls of the 60’s show will include some of the best hits of the 1960’s performed by well known local band Amitie.
While the The Elvis and Kings of Rock and Roll show features live performances by Terry Leonard and Nigel Stanley.
On Sunday morning, the Legends Show is on raising funds for the Royal Far West.
Entry into the Legends Show is a donation of either a $5, $10, $20 or $50 note.
Mr Cheney said they are also donating a framed photo of Marilyn Monroe to be raffled off in support of the Royal Far West.
It all wraps up on Sunday afternoon with Country Superstars of the baby boomer era.
Tickets are on sale now at the Forbes Services Club Reception Monday to Friday between 10am and 5pm or at online at www.123tix.com.au
Tickets for individual shows or the whole festival can also be purchased on the day at the Services Memorial Club.
