Bathurst turned on a beautiful day weather-wise for the first regatta of the summer.
“It was such a great thrill to do so well in our first regatta of the year with new coach Chris Favelle and new paddlers Trish, Geoff, Neil and Johno who have only been with the club a short time,” club president Deanna Williams said.
“Thanks to all members for their time in organising the regatta, it is a big job. We are certainly looking forward to the next one.”
Coach Chris said it was a great effort.
“ I just want to congratulate the entire team on their performance especially the newest paddlers, they really stepped up in their first regatta,” he said.
“It was a well organised event and I am very pleased with the result.”
