We started the year with Norm Haley addressing our February meeting, talking about the Men’s Shed.
In March, we had three guest speakers for “What Do I do All Day”. In April, our gardeners had plenty of gardening tips from Denis Irvine. The seniors Festival Week was celebrated in style with a concert in Town Hall.
Thursday mornings in May we began our Cards and Scrabble which continued until late August. Our Relay for Life team did very well, managing to raise over $500.
At our June meeting, we had a fascinating speech from Leah Colefax of WIRES, and studied poetry and prose.
We introduced the courses for Spring at our August meeting. Our ongoing courses of Tai Chi and Singers are still popular. The tour committee are at it again and we have a trip to the Blue Mountains organised for next March.
