76 lady bowlers converged on our lovely club and it was a buzz with laughter being heard across the greens. Bowlers from Merrylands, St Johns Park, ACT, Queanbeyan, Moruya, Parkes, Cowra,Young,Lake Cargelligo, West Wyalong,Forbes, The Wang, Dubbo West, Dubbo City, Tuncurry,Gulgong, Penrith, and Grenfell.
We had a lovely lunch supplied by the ladies bowls social committee on Saturday and on Sunday the restaurant made us a great roast lunch.
Winners of the weekend were Lyn Gibson and Roberta Henry (Queanbeyan and Penrith) with five wins +58;
Second was Denise Huender from St Johns Park and Forbes own Leisa Burton with five wins +52;
Third spot Dianne Marquett and Leanne Steele (ACT) with five wins +39;
Fourth position Beryl Hobson and Jenny Clark ( Dubbo city, Merrylands) five wins+ 36;
and Fifth was Sue Clarke and Veonne Brown with four wins + 41 ( The Wang, Dubbo West).
Big Thank you to Rob Priest for doing the board all weekend and his helpers Ray Dunstan and Alf Davies.
