Police said a 42-year-old man had gone for a ride on the TSR, 20km west of Forbes on the Bedgerabong Road, when he had the accident.
Friends he was camping with went looking for him and called emergency services to the scene.
The man was treated by ambulance officers on site, before being flown to Royal North Shore Hospital.
Police are fingerprinting a can of spray paint after graffiti was painted on the garage at a Belah Street residence.
The graffiti was found about 10.30pm Thursday, and on further inspection the occupant discovered the window at the rear of the shed was smashed.
The can of red paint was found on scene and police have retained it.
