Calling all descendants of Thomas (Edward) Fitzgerald thought to be born in 1798 in Dublin, Ireland and who died 17th September 1878 at Camp Hill, Forbes. He was married to Mary Gormon at St John’s Church of England, Parramatta on 18th November 1828 and later to Mary Grumbley.

This first landed immigrant of this branch of the Fitzgerald family, he landed on 13th September 1819 at Port Jackson under a seven year conviction for theft.
The youngest son Mark, born 21.3.1841 (mother Mary Grumbley) and died 2.1.1920, opened the Moonbi Hotel in 1874, between Forbes and Condobolin, later managed the famous Bluejacket mine in Forbes, then finally took up farming and grazing in the Wamboyne district.
Two daughters also survived. Ann was born 6.3.1830 and died 7.5.1868 at Parkes, married James Thompson c 1848 at Carcoar. Their children were Richard, James, Ann, Edward, Catherine, Phillip, Gertrude, and Robert.
A second daughter, Margaret, was born 11.9.1831 and d c. 1925 at Parkes, married Robert Davis (also known as Drummond) at Parkes. Their children were Robert, Edwin, Frederick, Thomas and Elizabeth. Margaret also later married Thomas Reed at Carcoar.
